**Talk about Catching the Eagle at Skelton Library on Wednesday**

There may still be chance to grab yourself a ticket for my appearance at Skelton Library on Wednesday 11th January. They cost £2 and all proceeds are going to to the library. It starts at 10am and is scheduled to finish at mid day.

Apart from reading from Catching the Eagle, I will also be talking about how we uncovered our family black sheep, Jamie Charlton, and how I turned his dramatic story into a novel and secured a publishing deal.

I did Chrissy, had a thoroughly enjoyable time at Skelton Library. I did a speech and power point presentation about 'Catching the Eagle.' My friend, Sue, the 'Power Point Princess' came along to help me. I talked about how we discovered our family black sheep and turned his sorry tale into a work of historical fiction. Finally, I read a chapter of the book.

It was well received and we both enjoyed ourselves. The Library had sold 25 tickets and I later sold 5 copies of the novel. Several people in the room had already read the book which was a pleasant surprise. One of the ladies had bought a book from me at my book signing in Guisborough last month - and then brought a friend to Skelton for the talk.

Sue and I had a very nice lunch at Saltburn afterwards. :)
