Her standalone, debut novel Catching the Eagle is the true story of her notorious ancestor, Jamie Charlton, who was convicted of Northumberland's biggest robbery and her non-fiction genealogy book, Seeking Our Eagle, tells how she uncovered the gaol-bird in their family tree.
